A) Must be a full-time student currently attending a four-year college or university (12-credits or more per semester) during the year. In addition, must have already completed 24-credits and be enrolled for the upcoming semester (minimum of 12-credit hours), for the scholarship to be awarded.B) Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawfully admitted for permanent residence. C) Must provide proof of disability by submitting an Evaluation / Reasonable Accommodations Report by the Director of the College’s Disabilities Services Office) stating eligibility for services due to a disability. D) Have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
A) Include a complete, official transcript of your academic record.B) Provide two (2) letters of recommendation, from two (2) current professors/teachers. C) Provide a complete list of extra-curricular activities including sports, volunteer activities, part-time jobs, etc. D) Provide “student Statement of Intention” indicating why this scholarship is important to furthering your future career objectives and what those career objectives are. E) Photo of yourself. (Please note: Although, a photo does not need to be provided at the time of application, it is a requirement should the applicant be selected as an Awardee; and with the understanding that, the scholarship funds will not be released unless a photo is provided.)
A point system will be used for grading applicants based on the following:1) Accurate and complete submission of all materials required by the application. 2) Provide two (2) Letters of Recommendation from two (2) current professors/teachers. 3) Quality of mandatory essay (“Student Statement of Intention”), written by the student, indicating why this scholarship is personally important to furthering his or her career objectives (150-300 words).

Scholarship Awardees will be determined by the Springboard Foundation Scholarship Committee. This Committee has the right and sole discretion to decide how scholarships are awarded. In all cases, the Committee’s decisions are final. Scholarships are awarded based on accuracy and completion of all required application information. Scholarship awards will be made once each year. This is a one-time award and winning applicants may NOT apply again after receiving an award. Applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision by email on August 1st. Each new award shall be applied to the semester following the award notification. Awards will be in the form of a check, made payable directly to the awardee.

It is your responsibility to ensure this form is submitted completely and on-time.2) Obtain two (2) letters of recommendation, from two (2) current professors/teachers, utilizing the forms included in this packet. 3) Complete the “Student Statement of Intention” section. In your own words, tell us why this scholarship is personally important to furthering your career objectives (150-300 words) and describe what those career objectives are. 4) By submitting your application electronically via the online system, you automatically sign and date the completed application package. 5) Note that your application will not be considered complete until ALL of the above have been received.
